Dispatch Date Scheduling

An overview on where to find the settings around dispatch scheduling calculations.


  1. Job tracking Line covers how long each Inventory group takes to complete

Settings →  WorkFlow Timing & Tracking Settings → Job tracking Line



Tracking Lead Time

This is the minimum number of days before production can commence to allow for ordering of fabric & components. So even if there is no production nothing will be scheduled on this Job Tracking Line until on or after the Lead Time. Enter 0 (zero) for immediate start.

Days to complete

Arrive in Factory - Finished production (Includes public holidays)

Production capacity

For each day of the week the number of minutes production that can be carried out on the day. 480 minutes = 8 hours x 60 minutes This is so that different products can be manufactured on the same Production Line e.g. Roller Blinds and Romans. If number of units is the preferred count then set Capacity to the number of units and in the Inventory Group set Production Standard Time to 1 (one).

2.  Settings →  Inventory Groups →  Groups

Production Extra DaysAdds extra days to production/Job tracking days. Allows you to have multiple products with different lead times on 1 job tracking line
Install Standard MinutesThis is the time in minutes that items from this group are allocated to install. (If you dont require dispatch for this group set this to -1)
Multiply install minutes by Square MetresIf this is ticked the Install Time is Per Square Metre, not per item.
Check Measure Lead daysThis is the lead time in days it takes to complete a check measure form when order is accepted to check measure complete
Production standard minutesThis is the time in minutes it takes to manufacture this group
Check Measure standard minutesThis is the time in minutes it takes the check measure this group

4. Extra lead days depending on the dispatch type.

6. How long until the Installer can schedule the install

Settings → Workflow Timing & Tracking Settings → Installers 


Estimated Time Between JobsIn minutes, is used when calculating capacity for a day.
