Organization Details

This page aims to provide the organization details of the principal place of business or head office, if applicable.

The details on this page will be available to mail merge with documents like Quotes, receipts, Invoices and any other documents you may have for your business.

Getting to the Organisation page

Organization Details Layout

We start off with the Business name. These details are visible in the merge fields for your documents as well as on the MyBuz page. If you or other users have access to multiple BUZ Organisations, this name will appear on the list.

The display name will appear in the Email and document templates, whereas the Legal name is where BUZ will send the invoice.

Why does BUZ want your Postal and Physical address?

No, we won't post you any mail, not physically anyway; this page will help the system determine how far away appointments are from you.

When adding a customer or lead, google will complete a search based on your area.

If you do not have an address here, it may take a few seconds longer to calculate, which doesn't seem like much, but they (seconds) all add up.

Time Zone and Language

All the data in BUZ is set to UTC; by setting the time zone, BUZ will apply this to all the reports and time stamps will be in the correct time zone.

An Extra bit of information for users who access the profile.

Examples could be

  • a new product,

  • a discontinued product,

  • a sale or

  • dates that the office/factory will be closed,

  • anything else important to your business.

You can also select a colour to highlight the banner.

Payment Details

This is where you can update the payment details for your BUZ Subscription.

Email Verification

Email verification is an important aspect that you should be doing.

This prevents domains like Gmail, Outlook, and Telstra/Bigpond from sending your email to the junk/spam area. It isn't completely foolproof, and domains may still flag your organisation (as a spam email sender), but these precautions will allow more emails to get to your client.

Step 1 - masking the standard buz email with your email

It would be best if you did this straight away. This will allow you to send emails from your email address rather than the standard yourcompany@buzsoftware.com.au address.

Step 2 - Verify your domain so that emails don't get blocked or sent to junk inboxes

This lets us know who the primary account holder and point of contact is
