Group Option - Example for Material Only
Purpose
This page is designed to explain the basic setup for a product and how it will calculate, we will cover the defined “Headings” and the order that they need to be in, as well as how a particular Price grid setup will calculate with the values entered.
Layout Guide
This example will involve the Material and the main Headings (Width, Drop, Depth and Quantity) only.

Standard Layout
Below is an Example of a Basic layout for a product.
To set the values for the product we are offering, we need to add a few column with the correct headings.
The headings ITEMWIDTH, ITEMHEIGHT, ITEMDEPTH and QTY are all heading Keywords.
For Width, we would enter ITEMWIDTH in the heading
Drop (or Height) = ITEMHEIGHT
Depth = ITEMDEPTH
Quantity = QTY
These Columns must contain the headings listed if you wish to use the values for a calculation, other spelling variations such as WIDTH, BLINDWIDTH, RAILWITH ITEMWIDTH2 or the like will not be recognized.
These questions can be set in any order if there are no other factors (Components, Inventory Items or installation services) but must only be entered once, if there is 2 columns with ITEMWIDTH the system will not know which one you want to use and may return an error or the wrong value.

Once you have added these columns to the Group Options you can use the values to calculate a price.
Price grid / pricing Co-efficients
You will need to select a pricing method, if the price is linear setting up a pricing Co-efficient might be the easiest option.
Alternatively the inventory item may require a limit or be priced in a way that is not linear, if that is the case then a price grid will be required.

NOTE: A Price grid or Pricing Co-efficent must be connected to the Fabric/Material inventory item for a price to be calculated.
