• Inventory Groups

• Inventory Discount Groups

• Price Grid Descriptions

• Cost Grid Descriptions

You can also update these fields, these generally are only used in specific setups where inventory items are adding manually rather that through the excel import/export function

• DescnPart1 (was Material) This can only be edited here and is only used if it is desired to set the Code that will be used for the Material. Inventory Import by default is set to automatically create DescnPart1's that are not found using the first letter of the description followed by the next unused number for that letter. The Code is limited to a maximum of 5 characters and the Description to 30 characters.

• DescnPart2 (was Material Type) Same as applies to DescnPart1.

• DescnPart3 (was Colour) Same as applies to DescnPart1.

• Units of Measure These can only be edited here. See more information in purchase orders help documentation Purchase Orders
