Job Sheet - Cut Sheets
If you have an automated cutting machine that requires information from the order to produce a product, there is a good chance that BUZ can assist.
Cutting items like
Fabrics,
Materials,
Tubes,
Rails
How can I use BUZ to help with this process?
Options for building a cut sheet include,
Odata report
There are a few different reports that you could run to get the data you require.
SalesOrder
JobsScheduleDetailed
WorkInProgress
These reports contain information like ItemWidth, ItemHeight, Quantity and much more; with this information, you could then build a sheet that will work with your cutting machine
Pros for Odata
you can build a report that can be updated easily with a date range; you could either automate it so that it looks at a specific date range
Cons for Odata
You can only access the programmed Headings, otherwise known as Keywords. Values like
Material
ItemWidth,
ItemHeight,
ItemDepth and
Quantity
If you need to reference questions and answers from the Group Options to calculate the cut, you will not have this data.
Job Sheets
Job sheets are a versatile tool that can produce a table based on an order’s sales data (questions and answers).
It is possible to add extra tabs with various table layouts or other static data like deduction tables or lists of components, anything you use to build an order form, worksheet, cutting sheet or label.
Pros for Job Sheet
Job Sheets are customisable report with all the data from a sale, including Fabrics, components and all the group options.
Cons for Job Sheet
Job Sheets only show the data for one order; if you want to combine multiple orders for the same day, this will need to be done manually.
