Components are add-on items for your main product.
Generally anything that has a cost associated to it will be required to be entered in to BUZ as an inventory item, so that you can link it to a price co-efficient or cost & price grid to the item.
Examples of this could be, but not limited to
- Chains
- Brackets
- Tubes
- Rails
- Motors
- Remotes
- Batteries
- Arms
- Pelmets (which can also be setup as a product separately)
- Powdercoat
You can also add Installation costs to your quote by creating
them as inventory items
- Ladder
- Forklift
- Cherry Picker
- Scissor lift
- Ute
- Truck
- 2nd installer
- Paid parking area
Installation into Materials like
- Brick
- Concrete
- Steel
- Glass
To configure these in BUZ set up a Group that contains the specific components you wish to add to your product.
These component can be used over many different Groups (Products) if you wish or can be limited to just the one.
Inventory Item only needs a code and description due to these items are ordered as part of the product and they don't need Description Part 1, 2 or 3.
Ensure that you remove the asterisk * from the Excel document so that you can manually enter the required information.
