BUZ 2 BUZ v2

BUZ 2 BUZ v2

Terminology

Terminology for the two parties can vary, so for this document, I will refer to the company offering the Product as the Supplier and the company buying the Product to then onsell to their customers as the Reseller.

What is the difference Between B2B version 1 and Version 2

BUZ to BUZ version 1 requires Product setup from the Supplier, and the reseller only needs to add a Product Group, link the Product to the Supplier's Product Group, and add a Price increase (percentage), Tax type and Discount code (optional).

Any changes to Fabrics, Pricing or Group options will automatically flow to the Resellers Product Group.

BUZ to BUZ Version 2 allows more customisation. As the Reseller, you have the ability to add, change or remove questions as long as they are non-essential. Also, Pricing can be customised rather than a percentage increase.

This customisation comes with a catch;

Both Organisations will need to set up the product completely.

  • Product Group,

  • Fabric list,

  • Group options and

  • Pricing,

The Supplier will need to provide a list of documents to the Reseller so that this aligns correctly, If the Supplier makes any updates like adding or modifying materials, updating Pricing or updating the Group options, the Supplier will need to inform the Reseller, and the Reseller will also need to update their Product.

Supplier steps

Setting up the Customer Contact card and Customer User Access.

If the Reseller is a new client, you will need to create

For the Customer Login account, the Reseller needs to use the same email address they use to log in to BUZ so that they can link the two accounts.

Providing the Excel Templates

The Supplier will need to provide the Excel Templates so that the information links correctly; you will need to download the current layout, which will be provided to the Reseller.

Group Options - Click here if you are logged into BUZ

No editing is required for this file

Inventory Items

Click here if you are logged into BUZ.

You will need to download the Material List (Main Inventory Items) and any groups with components that relate to this Product; if there are a few groups of components, you can merge them and remove any unrelated inventory items.

Note: You can leave the Price grid Code if you wish; this allows the Reseller the ability to know that there are different grids for the other materials, which can make their setup easier.

Optional

You can also download the Pricing co-efficient and Price grids and send the Reseller a copy.

I would recommend removing cost prices from the pricing co-efficient.

Save the files, rename them if you wish and email them to the Reseller,

Reseller Steps

Once you have received the files and accepted the Customer invite for BUZ, you can upload these to BUZ.

You will need to make some basic edits so that they work in your profile.

Job Tracking Line

You will need to allocate the Product to a Job tracking line that you have. You can add this to an existing line or create a new Job Tracking line for the orders sent to your Supplier/s.

Product Groups

Open the Inventory Group document, ensure the details are correct,

You may want to update details like

  • Product Description

  • Sequence number

  • Production Line Code - for the Main Group only, do not add it to the components group.

  • Max Discount Percentage

  • Sales and cost GL Codes

Don't forget to add an A in Column AB so that BUZ adds the new groups

Then upload to BUZ

Price Grids - Optional

Now that the Product Groups have been uploaded, you have the option to add Price grid codes or use existing price grid codes if you already have one setup.

For more information about Price grid codes, click here.

Inventory Items

Open the inventory item document; there are a few simple edits that you will need to make; the first is to remove the asterisk * from Cell B2 and C2.

You may also need to edit the Price grid code and Tax rate code if your codes are different and input an “A” in the operation column on each line for every tab that is included (Material and Components)

Once you have completed the necessary changes, you can upload the inventory into BUZ.

Pricing Coefficients - Optional

Add the Price (and cost if you wish), Input an A into column AQ and upload

More information about adding Pricing coefficients

Group Options

You can upload the Group Options as they are, but if you wish to add additional questions or remove non-essential ones, you are welcome to do so. Remember that all mandatory questions (Row 9 Is required) must remain and be completed for the order to work.

Upload the file to BUZ.
