Adding a Pricing Co-Efficient to a new product

Adding a Pricing Co-Efficient to a new product

The purpose of this page is to show you how to add a Pricing Co-efficient to an inventory item

You should consider a pricing co-efficient as an attachment to the inventory.

The Pricing Co-efficient can be added, modified or removed. Any changes to a pricing co-efficient will affect all orders that have this inventory item, I would strongly suggest to never edit or remove a pricing co-efficient.

Once you have added an inventory item you can attach a pricing Co-efficient to the item.

Download the Inventory group

Select the group that contains the inventory item.

Once you have downloaded and opened the excel file you will see a list of inventory items any items that are green are new and or do not have a pricing co-efficient attached as yet.

Leave the PkId, Inventory Code and Description as is, if you have other Customer Price Groups click here for further instructions (To be added soon),

Enter a “Date from”, this is very important all orders that contain this inventory, from and including this date will have the price applied, if you choose a date in the past it will affect previous orders.

Add the price, cost, install price and costs if required, you can populate one or multiple columns if required.

Enter “A” in the operation column

Save the file and upload this file in the same location where you downloaded it from, instructions are available on the page.

The Line highlighted in Red is the Price that we added

Note if the spreadsheet is not green and contains a unique number in the PkId Column a Price already exists, you can add a new one but you must ensure the date effective has been updated.
