Can Be Ordered - in your Group Inventory Setting, is designed to have a product in the system that cannot be ordered. This can be because you are setting up a new product and don’t want it to be ordered or you’re phasing out an item but there are orders in BUZ that still need to be processed.
One thing to remember with unchecking this option is that if there are old quotes in BUZ, these will still be able to process without any warnings.
Deactivate - As the name suggests, this option deactivates the Group so it cannot be ordered. With this option, any old quotes or orders will not process and will give an error message. It’s recommended to use this function if there are no pending orders to be processed.
