Create a new lead

open BUZ OnDemand -> Sales -> Leads

  • Select “+ New Lead”

  • Type in the lead address and details
    The first address entered is the lead address, the second address is the billing address
    If the 2 address are different "un-tick" the billing address box to enter the second address and details.

  • If the address can't be found in Google click on Detailed Address and then enter the full address details.

Note: We use Google to auto-complete addresses, if the address is not found by Google BUZ opens the Detailed Address box and asks to complete it.



  • Click next, this will ask if you want to use an existing customer.
    Note: if you use an existing customer and change the selected contact details in the lead this will update the customer card and any orders/leads attached to this card already.
    If you wish to add a new contact to and existing customer go to the customer card and add the details there.






  • Fill in the Products they are interested in and the Product Survey

  • Now you can choose a Rep, Date, Start and Finish Time and add any notes about the Quote IE: We are the second company to Quote

  • You will be taken to the Summary page where you can  “Schedule and Start a new Quote” or “Schedule and Start a New Lead”

Create a Private Appointment

open BUZ OnDemand -> Sales -> Leads

  • Select "Calendar"  

  • Then Select "New Private Appointment"

  • Type in the Rep, Date, Time and Description of Private Appointment and Save

Lead Colours

  • A Lead will show on the calendar in Yellow

  • A Private Appointment will show on the Calendar in Orange

Lead colours can be changed/managed through your lead statuses, more help can be found here.



Lead Appointments displayed in the calendar

The coloured box on the top right of each appointment is how far in kilometers each appointment is from each other (this will not calculate the start kilometers from the office/home address of the rep.)

Green = less than 10 kms 

Orange = 10 - 20 kms

Red = + 20 kms

How is the distance in the box calculated

When a new lead is created the distance from the new lead to the appointments already in the sale calendar will be calculated.

It is calculated according to google maps and as the crow flies, and does not account for traffic.

 

Another factor is if an address is manually added. If an appointment was not found in google and requires to be added manually the distance will not be calculated.



Update/Change lead status

Use Leads Search to find lead, click lead, opens Summary page, click Back button to edit, change status in top right, then Next, click Schedule to save.
