Allocate Percentages in the Discount Matrix Table

Before proceeding, please ensure you have set up Product Discount Groups and Customer Discount Groups.
Note that these entities, on their own, do not apply discounts to orders. They must be linked to your inventory items and customer cards. If any step is missed, the process will not work. For guidance on finding missing links, click [here] for detailed instructions.
Overview
Once the Product Discount Groups and Customer Discount Groups are created and added to BUZ, you can download the Discount Matrix Table to enter the required discount values. These values can be updated and re-uploaded for different dates, allowing flexibility such as offering seasonal sales with additional discounts.
Accessing the Discount Matrix Table
The Discount Matrix Table can be accessed in two areas:
Inventory Settings > Discounts
Sales Settings > Discount Area
Downloading and Editing the Table
After downloading the Excel document, you will see a table with the Customer Discount Groups listed across the top row, and the Product Discount Groups listed in the leftmost column.
Filling Out the Table
To allocate discounts, input the percentage values for each product in the appropriate row and column. Here’s an example:

Uploading the Table
Once you've entered all the required discount values, upload the table into BUZ. Be sure to note the date for which the discount will be active.
If the date you input is today's date, past orders will not receive these discounts. This feature allows you to create temporary sales, such as seasonal promotions, by specifying a future or past effective date.
Important Notes
Ensure that the Product Discount Groups and Customer Discount Groups are correctly linked to inventory items and customer cards, or the discount will not be applied.
You can update and re-upload the Discount Matrix Table as needed for different promotions or seasonal sales.
