On this page we will creating a component that has 2 requirements which have not relation to the Material/Fabric

I will show you how to set up a product that has a Component (Inventory item) that is independent from the Material/Fabric dimensions.

Example

The Values in Yellow will not affect the values in Blue, Below are 2 examples that I will do, there are plenty of other setups that you can do that involve Width, Height, Depth and or QTY

These Values will not affect

Purpose

The table below has a component that requires its own value for the width and Height.

We want the component (or Inventory item) in Column E to not be affected by the values entered into Columns B, C or D and requires its own value in column F and G

To make this happen we need to let inform BUZ that we are not using the standard headings (ITEMWIDTH, ITEMHEIGHT, ITEMDEPTH) to determine the Width, Height or Drop

Setup

I have created a heading in Column E - COMPWH, (you can rename this for your products it is not a defined name)

Next I need to refer to this Heading in row 3 of columns F & G, I have entered COMPWH

This is because column E is where the Inventory Item is selectable,

The next thing we need to do is to tell BUZ what type of value we want, so for this first table I require a Width and Height to be entered, Column F/Row 4 I have specified this by entering in the BUZ Keyword for width “ITEMWIDTH” and for Column G/Row 4 “ITEMHEIGHT”

You can also add or substitute ITEMDEPTH, or QTY if required.
