If you want to send an SMS to a client, you can set up an email template that can be sent to an SMS gateway, which will then convert the Email to an SMS.
SMS Providers
There are various SMS providers that can convert emails to Text messages.
Not all of the providers use the same format and may require
different information. Generally,
they will have the requirements on their webpage, or you can email the SMS
provider support team for more help.
Below is an example of how to set up an email template to send information across to the SMS Provider
Create an SMS Template

How do I send a text, or when will BUZ send a text
There
are 2 ways to send an SMS,
Manually in the quote/order screen
Or you
can set up a "Send Email (or SMS in this scenario) on status change"

FAQ
Why is the message showing the placeholder text instead of the populated data that is meant to be there?
The placeholder text is case-sensitive and needs to have capital letters where we have shown.
I can't send any messages

Can you send/receive manual SMS?
NO → Check your email for Red oxygen error emails.
Example error email:
Have you verified your email address in BUZ, which is also useful to avoid emails being sent to junk emails (information can be found here)?
Ensure this email address is the same one you have configured to send your Email Template from, and this email address is set up in your
SMS Providers account

- Someone has edited the SMS template and not used the HTML Editor or not used the proper format
Example email error:
- The Customer does not have a mobile number saved in their Delivery Detail's (See image below)
FYI - SMS's will not be sent to the "billing" details, they will always go to the Delivery detail's, you must provide a mobile number in the Delivery Details even if you have a number in the Billing address
Redoxygen user info
- You automatically get setup with a maximum of 25 messages per day one reached the text's wont send. You might want to increase this?
The daily limit is a rolling 24 hour period not a calendar day (so if you reach the limit in the afternoon you will not be able to send more messages the following morning).
We have noticed that adding in the BUZ email administrator yourself online does not work, you need to contact Redoxygen support to organise this
