Red Oxygen
(Using Red Oxygen)
Please note that BUZ does not have any association with Red Oxygen, this information is purely here to assist with setting up a template for SMS's.
SMS Email
This is an email setup so that it sends a SMS to the customers mobile number.
- Firstly you will need to have Company_name@buzsoftware.com.au setup as an administrator in your red oxygen account. Please call Red Oxygen to organise this as we have noticed that doing this in your online account doesn't necessarily register the email.
(Note this is your company name check with support if you are unsure on how this is displayed) - You also need to include the below in your template setup;
- The email address for red oxygen needs to be in BCC "smsgateway@redoxygen.net"
- The email subject line needs to have SMS: (with semi colon in it)
- [Contact number mobile] field needs to be in the body including the user name and password you use for red oxygen. (Note: This mobile number reads off the Mobile number field in your Dispatch contact not Billing contact)

Note when adding or editing the Email body, all changes MUST be done within the HTML editor - the button with this logo </>
The SMS format must look like the picture on the right.
Once the HTML editor is closed the format will revert to the view on the left.
Any changes not completed in the HTML </> editor will cause the SMS to not work.
FAQ
I cant send any messages?
Can you send/receive manual SMS?
NO → Check your email for Red oxygen error emails.
Example error email:
- Have you verified your email address in BUZ to avoid emails being sent to junk emails (information can be found here)? Ensure this email address is the same one you have configured to send your Email Template from and this email address is set up in your Red Oxygen account
YES →
- Someone has edited the SMS template and not used the HTML Editor or not used the proper format

- The Customer does not have a mobile number saved in their Delivery Detail's (See image below)
Redoxygen user info
- You automatically get setup with a maximum of 25 messages per day one reached the text's wont send. You might want to increase this?
The daily limit is a rolling 24 hour period not a calendar day (so if you reach the limit in the afternoon you will not be able to send more messages the following morning).
We have noticed that adding in the BUZ email administrator yourself online does not work, you need to contact Redoxygen support to organise this
