Where and what is a Price Co-Efficient

Pricing Co-efficients  offer a smarter way to price your Inventory items/ components and options. This is a lineal process you can set up pricing based on:

  • Per Item sell price

  • Per meter sell price for the Item Width

  • Per meter sell price for the Item Height

  • Per meter sell price for the Item Depth

  • Per square meter sell price

  • Add a percentage surcharge based on the main item

  • Minimum sell price to use if the calculated price is less than this

Pricing Co-efficient’s are attached to Inventory Items

Adding the initial price

All inventory items start out without a pricing c-efficient,

As seen below, we input A to add a price or value

This is the result (ignore that the value is Zero it is still a value)

What happens if I edit the price

Exactly that the price that was in the system will be updated and all previous orders will be edited, even if the customer has accepted it.

We do not recommend editing a price that has been in place for a period of time.

What if I change the date

For the example below we change the date from the 27th March to the 1st of June.

Any orders placed before the 1st June will lose its value as the date the price is active from has been moved.

What should I be doing?

Remove the Pkid number in Column A,

Update the date that you want the new price to be active from in column E

Modify the price values

Input an A for Add in the Operation Column AQ

This way any orders place between the 27th May to the 1st June will be $1 and anything after 1st of June will be $2
