Role - Wholesale Customer
The customer role allows organization to invite their customers to place orders directly into the organizations system (Customer Portal).
i.e. A wholesaler allows a retailer access to their system to place orders that the retailers needs for their own customers.
- Only has access to Quoting and Ordering.
- Must be attached to a customer entity
- Quoting and Ordering:
- Dashboard:
- The data is only relevant to any quote, order and/or invoice that specific to the users customer entity.
- Search:
- The data is only relevant to any quote, order and/or invoice that specific to the users customer entity.
- Create Quote / Order:
- The Quote Date, Sales Rep and Customer fields are automatically populated and is not editable / changeable
- Quote / Order Summary:
- Once a quote / order is accepted the user can no longer edit the order.
- The discount field is not visible to this user

Step-by-step guide
1. Create a Lead or Customer
2. Create and Invite User
This allows the customer access to log in to BUZ Portal
Ensure
3. Ensure that you allow them access to be able to place an order by selecting the "Quoting & Ordering" box
Then select the Customer you wish to give access to BUZ, this connect's their customer card details to the account.
If you have an email template you can use your own otherwise BUZ has made a quick and easy template that will inform the customer to click the link, Create a password and Log in.
Finally Select "Send invite" and they will be able to log in.
Common Issue's that can arise
Customer is unable to place an Order
If the customer can log in but is not able to see any Quote and Ordering Menu's, then you have not selected that option to be available for the customer.
Go to
- Settings
- Users
- Search the user
- Select the User
- scroll down the Roles and Access
- Select the box
The customer can not see my products
Some customers may already order products from other wholesalers within BUZ, if they have used the same email address for the BUZ accounts they may have access to multiple BUZ companies,
To go back to the company selection screen they need to select the person icon in the top right of the screen
Once the drop down menu appears select "My BUZ"
Then select the company they wish to place the order with
The Customer received my email but missed the set password step
There is a way to bypass the password setup screen, it is unusual but if it can happen, don't worry the customer is able to select "Forgotten your Password", which will send a link to their email account and provide them the opportunity to make a password
