For Office 365 Excel Version 16.70 (For previous versions of Excel for Mac click here)

-Open a blank workbook
-Click Data and then Get Data (Power Query)


-In the popup screen click on OData


-Enter the URL: https://api.buzmanager.com/reports/YOUR-ORGANISATION-CODE
-Change the Connection Credentials to Basic and enter your BUZ user name and password


-Follow instructions from step 5 onwards on page Excel Reporting using OData to edit the query


Some older versions of Excel for Mac may not be supported. Please follow instruction below if you are not using Office 365 Version 16.70

There are no ability to query the data at this stage in Excel on OSX , however Excel allows you to open and refresh spreadsheets previously created in Excel for Windows.

You however need to make sure the connection in the spreadsheet is using the correct BUZ credentials.

To do this perform the following:

  • Open the Spreadsheet

  • Click on the Enable Content button.

  • Click on the Data tab

  • Click Get Data option

  • Choose Data Source Settings

  • Select the Api option and click on the Clear Permissions

  • Click Delete

  • Repeat Clear Permissions routine for each query in the spreadsheet.

  • Click on the Refresh option

  • Click on the Authentication kind drop down

  • Choose Basic from the list

  • Enter your BUZ username and password and click Connect

  • If you are successful you will see Running background query
