Overview

Import Export process using Excel spreadsheets to add/edit the data.

Areas

Areas are descriptions/names used to describe a set of suburbs that make up that area.

Below is an example of how the worksheet might look. As with other lists Sequence, No is used to control the order of the list, which is then alphabetically within that Seq No.

These areas will be used for both Sales Rep areas and Installer areas

PkId  Seq No.  Code  Description  Is Not Current  Operation

10BSHORENorth ShoreFALSEA

Note: BUZ will default the orders to an Installer/Rep by the postcode unless "suburb" is selected in organizational settings

If this is selected, BUZ looks for: Suburb, State and postcode

Area Setup

Step 1: Create Areas

Settings-> Sales settings-> Import/Export Sales Settings "Areas."

If exported for the first time, the spreadsheet will be blank.

Fill in Code, Description, Seq No, and operation, then import

Note: These areas will be used for both the Sales Rep and Dispatch areas.

Seq No is used to control the order of the list, which is then alphabetical within that Seq No.

Suburbs

The list of suburbs has the applicable Area Name down the right column.

If you require areas set up for your Sales reps and Installers, Each Suburb must be allocated to an Area using the Area Description. That area is then given to a Sales rep and Installer.

Note: All Fields must be filled in, including the State, for BUZ to allocate the correct rep/installer.

Ask our support team for a list of Suburbs in your State or Country to import into BUZ. OR see here for Australia's Suburb/Postcode list http://postcodez.com.au/ grouped by common areas. (Another option http://www.corra.com.au/australian-postcode-location-data/ )
