Components - Option for Unavailability

Requirement for customers to be able to place an order even if the stock is unavailable

The quote must show the total amount ordered and the stock that is and is not available

ie

Customer places an order for 6 Motors @ $100 each

6 x Motors - In stock = $300

6 x Motors - Not available = $0

Setup

Column B has the inventory item attached to the answer

Column C applies a QTY to the inventory items (which is optional for this setup)

  • Row 3 refers to the Heading that is linked to the inventory

  • Row 4 has QTY which determines the value entered as an answer for this Column will be a quantity value

Column D Is for the Admin staff - once the order has been placed, the admin staff can check if there is stock and amend the values

• Note

  • If you input “Y” into row 12 (Below in Red) customers who login to place orders will not see these questions

Column E would be used to set the new quantity value if it requires amending

  • Row 4 has QTY which determines the value entered as an answer for this Column will be a quantity value

Column F Is used to set the new price

• Note

  • Row 3 refers to the Heading that is linked to the inventory

  • Row 4 has AMT which determines the value entered as an answer for this Column will be a $dollar value

    • You could replace AMT with RRP

    • AMT will override any price in BUZ to be the value entered in

    • RRP will override the price but still factor in the customer discount if there is one.
