A Discount group is a set of inventory items, (this can include fabrics and components) that belong to a group.
Discount groups are designed so that all new leads that are added to a “Customer Group” receive a set Discount for a select set of products, which have been included in the Discount Group.

The Inventory items do no not need to be apart of the same "Product Group", alternatively the Discount Code can be used over several "Product Groups" if required.
Below is an exported "Inventory Items" list for Roller fabrics, column I is where the Discount Group code is annotated.
Note that there is a few codes and even fabrics that have no discount code.
Factors of a Discount Group
There is a few factors that are involved.
First thing to note, is that not every product has the same discount value, by this I mean that different fabrics and components may have a different percentage that can be discounted.
To factor this we need to allocate a Discount code to the inventory items and then allocate a percentage to the applicable Discount code.
