The Import/ Export functions operate in a similar way throughout the system.

From here the following can be edited

  • Inventory Groups
  • Inventory Discount Groups
  • Price Grid Descriptions
  • Cost Grid Descriptions
  • DescnPart1 (was Material) This can only be edited here and is only used if it is desired to set the Code that will be used for the Material. Inventory Import by default is set to automatically create DescnPart1's that are not found using the first letter of the description followed by the next unused number for that letter. The Code is limited to a maximum of 5 characters and the Description to 30 characters.
  • DescnPart2 (was Material Type) Same as applies to DescnPart1.
  • DescnPart3 (was Colour) Same as applies to DescnPart1.
  • Units of Measure These can only be edited here.
