CancelledCancelling an Order should be initiated by cancelling in Job Tracking this confirms that the item will not be made or supplied by the external supplier. This is why orders cannot be cancelled in Ordering or Despatch.

How Job Tracking Statuses should be Actioned

In Job Tracking you should check for Un-started over a wide date range particularly in the past in case some haven’t been Ordered/ Commenced. Once Ordered/Commenced the Order Status should change to indicated that and again when Received\Completed.

Shipping Container Management

When you get a shipping date add a status for that shipment and set all the order in that shipment to that status. Include in the status description the expected into store date and if this changes you only need to go back the status description and edit it to reflect the new date.
