Overview

Pricing as described below applies to main products and to add on options.

Pricing Facets

BUZ Pricing has several facets that go together to make up the final price. They are applied in the order below so a combination of 1, 2 and 3 is not unusual. Methods 4 and 5 would usually override 1, 2 and 3.

These are:

  1. Price Grids using the Width, Height and Depth to search a 3 dimensional grid. For a 2 dimension grid use a depth of zero (0).
  2. Pricing Coefficients, a price for:
    1. Each
    2. Width
    3. Height
    4. Depth - See using Depth in other ways below
    5. Area
    6. Percentage increase on main price
    7. Minimum Price
  3. Discount Grids are applied using a combination of Inventory Discount Group and Customer Discount Group.
  4. Scripted Pricing: This has to be written by a BUZ programmer if there is not a script already written for the desired function.
  5. Price can be entered as part of the quote either as the RRP (before any discounts) or as Amt (after discounts).

Using Depth in other ways

A depth of 1, 2 or 3 can be used to denote package pricing of 3 options for example Trim 1, Trim 2 or Trim 3 each with it's own price grid of width and drop.
