Overview

Price Grids are the common way of pricing in the window furnishing industry where the widths are across the top, height/ drop down the left and the size co-ordinates give the price. BUZ supports a third dimension Depth and this is in the right most column. Each Price Grid has a Code and Description (Price Grid Description) that are used to attach it to the appropriate Inventory Item/Items, then multiple Price Grids each with different Start Dates and different Price Groups per Customer if this option is used.

How Price Grids (Sell) are used by BUZ

The Price Grid Description's code is added to each inventory item that it applies to.

Each Price Grid Description can have several Price Grids attached to it that each have a different Start date.

BUZ allows 3 dimensional pricing Width/Length x Height/Drop x Depth/Thickness They are referenced as ItemWidth x ItemHeight x ItemDepth. They are up to and including the size shown.

A zero (0.00) price indicates that the size is not available so it may be necessary add width and drop 1 less than the minimum with 0.00 price to stop orders that size and less. In the example below a size of 1649 x 1500 would not be allowed but a size of 1650 x 1500 would be $3856

ItemDepth is often used to signify a package or combination price in the Product Options see Group Options for how this is used.

Example of Price Grids

It is important that the right most column be the Depth. If depth is not being used then 0 (zero) should be entered on each row. See example below.

NB: if you have multiple Customer Price Groups they will each have their own Price Grids in the Export and Import. Each Grid must start and finish on the same Column. They can be longer than each other but they must be the same width.

Note: Importing pricing "Inc" or "Exc" GST depends on what is setup as the tax rate for you inventory group/inventory items check the tax rate before updating pricing
