Overview
Customer Groups as the name implies is to group customers for marketing and account management purposes.
Customer Groups have parameters that apply only to that group such as:
- Deposit percentage required to process order.
- Commission proportion applicable based on normal/ standard percentage. For example a rep may only get half commission when dealing commercial account customers while ad-hoc retail customer attract full commission.
- Not all Inventory Groups may be on offer to the Group. (A Standard Users has the ability to see all Inventory Groups and to choose from them for all customers but if you are a Customer User of a Group then you only see the products that are selected for this group)
let you organize customers with shared characteristics and apply specific parameters to each group. These parameters control elements such as pricing, discounts, commissions, and access to inventory, enabling tailored interactions and streamlined processes for different customer types.
