Purpose

The purpose of this page is to show you This page explains how to add an inventory item items via excelExcel. Execution

Before adding inventory items, ensure you need to have setup set up a group for the inventory items to live. If you think them. Think of a Group as a folder, the with inventory items would be as files within that are in the foldersfolder.

Fabrics/Materials and Components/

As previously discussed there are 2 Services

There are two types of Inventory inventory items: Fabrics and Components/Options

The main different between the 2 is how the layout of which you enter the information

Fabric

For Fabrics you will need to fill . The layout for entering information differs between them.

Fabric:

  • Fill out columns D, E, F, and AO.

  • Column AO

  • A - Add

  • E - Edit

  • D - Deactivate

    • Add (A),

    • Edit (E), or

    • Deactivate (D).

    • If left empty, BUZ will ignore the line.

  • Columns A, B, and C will be populated by BUZ

Components/Options

For Components the information required differs

Previously BUZ would create a Code and Description, but for components we only need a Code and description, the :

  • Fill out columns B, C, and AO.

  • Column AO indicates the action: Add (A), Edit (E), or Deactivate (D). If left empty, BUZ will ignore the line.

  • Leave Column A empty.

  • Optional: Enter codes for Price, Cost, and/or Discount grids in columns G, H, and I.

  • The Code must be in capital letters,
