How to change an Inventory Item code

If the Inventory Item Code needs to be updated the best process to follow is to deactivate the existing item then uploading a new Inventory Item with the new code to the required Inventory Group. Inventory Items which have a Description Part 1, 2 and 3 can't update the Inventory Item Code using the excel import function.

This should be able to be updated within BUZ.

Settings → Inventory Items → Search for the required Inventory Item → Open the Inventory Item 

→ Edit Details

→ Update the Inventory Item Code 

→ Save
